Container World’s Reefers are ideal for keeping your perishables at your desired temperature (chilled or frozen), ranging from +30°C to -30°C, as well as bespoke, customised units with specific equipment options fitted. The versatility offered by the reefers being mobile, means that they are considerably more cost effective versus traditional cold-storage rooms or facilities. Substantial power-savings are realised from the utilisation of scroll compressors on many of our current reefers.

Containerised Blast Freezers

Freeze 2 to 8 tonnes of product in 20 hours. Available to lease or buy.

A Container World blast freezer is a complete freezing plant built inside an insulated refrigerated container. Fitted with new refrigeration machinery, a full 380V electrical system with Sollatek protection and a dedicated plant room, it arrives ready to connect to a three-phase supply. There is no building to design, no construction delays and no fixed facility to pay for. 

Every size in our range is available to lease or buy, so you can match the unit and the commercial terms to how your business runs. 

Why blast freeze?

Freeze it fast, keep it fresh. Rapid freezing forms smaller ice crystals, so your product thaws with its texture, moisture and appearance intact. Reefer Containers are made to keep product frozen, not to freeze it. A blast freezer does the freezing, so your Reefer container can do the storing.
