Container World has begun a process of adopting the concept of shared value creation as the way in
which our business operates
The model is holistic in nature with its core strength being our ECD Monitor who spreads her time across the various schools and at our Focus on iThemba offices. Her role is vital as she provides support and motivation and ensures that the training is being implemented correctly.
This month I will introduce you to the principle of Inkhayezi ECD centre, Cynthia Hadebe, and give background to her school.
Cynthia Hadebe has lived in Molweni all her life, and in 2008 was granted a lovely piece of land by the inkhosi, on which to run an ECD centre.
In March 2019, HACT established HACT Business Pty Ltd T/a “HACT Biz”, a registered company which is 100% owned by HACT the NPO. The
aim of HACT Biz is twofold:
1. To improve HACT’s (the NPO’s) long-term sustainability by increasing our organisation’s selfgenerated income through our HACT Biz social enterprises

This allows Container World to support this business as a Supplier Development recipient. Farm 2You is run by Khulisani, a farming and agri-processing training centre based in the KZN Midlands and comprises
of an agricultural academy and a commercial farm.
During the first lock down Khulisani identified a creche that was in dire need of assistance.
